After Phillip Lim’s brilliant use of geode-patterned fabrics in his Spring 2014 collection, I’d thought I’d seen the most gem-inspired runway show possible. I was wrong. Osklen’s Spring 2014 collection was an ode to colorful gemstones, from the colors, to the fabrics, to the faceted sunglasses and shoes. Like Lim, no actual jewelry. But who needs jewelry when you are seeing the entire world through gem-colored glasses?
